Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Treoir platform, API, MCP server, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Treoir Ltd., a company registered in Ireland ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. The Service
Treoir provides shipping optimisation tools that evaluate carrier options and return ranked strategies based on cost, transit time, reliability, and carbon footprint. The Service is currently in beta. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
During the beta period, the Service is provided free of charge. We will give reasonable notice before introducing paid features or changing pricing.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at david@treoir.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell access to the Service without our written consent
- Exceed reasonable API usage limits or engage in abusive request patterns
5. Shipping and Carriers
Treoir provides optimisation recommendations and facilitates carrier bookings on your behalf. We are not a carrier and do not transport goods. The actual shipping service is provided by the selected carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) under their own terms and conditions.
We do not guarantee delivery dates, carrier performance, or the accuracy of carrier rates. Delivery estimates are probabilistic and based on historical data. Actual results may vary.
6. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.
You retain ownership of all shipment data you submit to the Service. We will not sell your data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treoir Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use, arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. During the beta period, the Service may contain bugs or errors.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
